These Terms govern your use of Hangar Gurus. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. The service
Hangar Gurus is a marketplace for hangars, airpark homes, and runway-side land. We provide the platform; the parties to a transaction are the buyer and seller (or landlord and tenant). We are not a party to those transactions and do not act as a broker, escrow agent, or lender.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 16 or older to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in channel (email or phone) secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Listings
- You're responsible for the accuracy of every detail you publish.
- Listings must be for property you own or have written authority to list. We may verify and remove listings that fail FAA cross-checks or other reasonable due diligence.
- New and edited listings enter a pending review state and become public only after staff approval.
- You retain ownership of content you publish; you grant us a license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of the service.
4. Acceptable use
You won't:
- Post listings that are misleading, fraudulent, or for property you don't control.
- Scrape, copy, or otherwise harvest data from the site without written permission.
- Send spam, harass other users, or impersonate anyone.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or moderation actions.
5. Fees
Browsing and account creation are free. Specific service fees (e.g., featured placement, partner directory, premium tools) are disclosed at the point of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
6. Third-party services
The site embeds Google Maps, sends email through Amazon SES, and may rely on other vendors. Their terms apply to those features in addition to ours.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't warrant that listings are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any transaction will close.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hangar Gurus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data. Our aggregate liability is capped at the greater of (a) $100 or (b) fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Hangar Gurus against claims arising from your listings, your transactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
You can close your account anytime via support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts sitting in King County, Washington, unless required otherwise by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes are announced by email to active users. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
